Essay Samples For College Application - Writing from the Heart

Essay Samples For College Application - Writing from the HeartThe number of essay samples for college application is too many to ignore and many times, I find the same essay being used again by other students. Some might get it right in theory but just don't have the experience to know how to approach the subject.Of course I understand this and I know that sometimes you do need to personalize your own essay and also be able to come up with an argument that gives your writer much needed information. However, there are a few tips I can give you that will help to give your essay a boost. Also as I mentioned, I often see the same essay being used again by many other students and I thought I would try to offer a little advice on getting it right.First of all, I want to tell you that when you are writing your essay, do not write it for yourself only, but also for your reader, and you may be surprised to find out how much this will change your writing ability. I know that many people are un der the impression that you just need to be able to come up with a good argument for the essay, but that is not always the case. In fact I was once talking to someone who had a great story to tell but not a word to say on the subject. In fact, he only had one sentence to begin his story and that was 'I want to tell you a long story about how I met my friend.' However, because his essay was written on a personal level, it came across as more personal than it actually was. He was able to use that story to begin a chain of events and he was able to build a longer story around it.One way to really tell a unique story and that is to not start by talking about yourself, but also to talk about others. If you do that you have to be sure that your narrative is sound, but it has to be so real that it seems like it could happen. It's hard to do, but it can be done. The best essay samples for college application are the ones that you write from the heart and not because you have to. It's easy to start with a note about yourself and say that you are intelligent, or that you enjoy football and then go on to talk about your love of the game and how you will help the team. It can be done, but only if you make sure that you begin with something that you feel is true and something that is honest. If you do this, you will be able to work in a couple of facts that you have learned about the subject, a short paragraph that gives a history, a personal story, and even something that are insightful or inspirational. You can also do this by combining a personal journal, an anecdote, and a map of some sort. This is very powerful and it will convince your reader that you really are sincere in your interest and that you are committed to the story.Last, make sure that you tell the story from a viewpoint that lets the reader see you as a person, not from a writer's perspective. It might take a bit of extra time, but it can be done.
